Cape Peninsula Private Tour
Enjoy a full day sight-seeing the Cape Peninsula and explore the most visited Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and African Penguin colony at Boulders Beach in Simonstown.

Itinerary
We start the tour with a scenic coastal drive along the Atlantic Seaboard, with the mountains on one side passing through Clifton and Camps Bay with a quick photo stop at Maiden’s Cove. From there, as we continue our coastal drive, we pass the Twelve Apostles mountain range and Llandudno, and have our next stop in the harbour of the fishing village, Hout Bay. Here you may charter an optional boat trip (for your own account) to Seal Island to view the Seals or shop for some souvenirs at the craft market. We then continue along one of the world’s most scenic drives, Chapman’s Peak which consists of 114 curves built over 7 years for which its engineers won an Ingenious Award with a stop to capture some of the amazing photo opportunities. We proceed through the town of Noordhoek with the option of stopping for amongst the finest roasted coffee at The Village Roast on this route. From there, we continue to Boulder’s Beach in Simonstown to see the African Penguin colony in their natural habitat where you may choose to enjoy a quick lunch at Harbour House or sit down to a full lunch at Sea Forth Restuarant. After lunch, we proceed to Cape of Good Hope Nature reserve, where you get to see how the land was many hundreds of years ago in its virgin state. Take the funicular (own account) or the footpath for a 10 minute walk up to the old Cape Point lighthouse We also stop at Cape Point, the meeting point of the cold Benguela and the warm Agulhas currents. At Cape Point, you can seize some of the amazing photo opportunities including a picture at the Cape of Good Hope sign post. On our return we pass through Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay and Muizenberg where you can explore some interesting craft shops and the fishing harbour of Kalk Bay along with the photogenic and colourful changing rooms of St James and Muizenberg. Your drop off at your accommodation rounds up your day exploring the Cape Peninsula.

Cape Winelands Private Tour
Our Cape Winelands Tour is one of our most popular and customizable tours, affording visitors an opportunity to see the stunning Cape Winelands, enjoy wines ranked 4th in the world, visit historic estates and take in the picturesque landscapes offered in this region. Itinerary
Your driver will fetch you at your accommodation and travel along the N2 to De Morgenzon Wine Estate for your first wine tasting of their award-winning Chardonnay. Your driver will then take you to the town of Stellenbosch where you can stop to browse the Vincent Da Silva art gallery and local craft shops after which you’ll proceed to Marianne Wine Estate to experience a biltong (dried meat) pairing and wine tasting which is believed to enhance the flavours of the red wines produced here. For your third tasting you’ll visit the award winning Fairview Wine Estate and Goats Cheese for a cheese and wine tasting and pairing. Before your lunch and fourth tasting, your driver will stop at the still active Drakenstein Correctional Facility where you’ll have the opportunity to snap a picture at the Nelson Mandela monument. This is the very same prison that was Nelson Mandela’s last prison home for the last 14 months of his incarceration and from which he was released and took his first steps on his long walk to freedom. (Talk to us about an exclusive tour of Mandela’s last prison home with his Chef/Warder during this time) Your driver will then proceed to your fourth tasting and lunch at La Motte Wine Estate and Peernief Restaurant where after you’ll have some free time to explore art galleries, souvenir shops, chocolatiers or museums before your return to Cape Town for drop off at your accommodation.
If you don’t wish to taste wine all day long, you can spend your time strolling through the romantic little towns, street markets, art galleries, vintage car and French museums or simply tell us about your preferences.

Cape Agulhas Private Tour

Experience a scenic return drive from Cape Town to the southernmost tip of Africa and the actual meeting place of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans at Cape Agulhas.

Itinerary

Your driver will fetch you at your accommodation and start your +/- 3 hours drive through the Overberg region where you’ll arrive at Cape Agulhas. Your first visit will be to the historic red and white Cape Agulhas Lighthouse that marks the tip of Africa. Dare to climb the 72 steps up to this 160-year-old icon for some amazing views of Cape Agulhas. Further down the road is the famous Cape Agulhas monument and the southernmost tip of Africa where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans actually meet. Have your picture taken at this monument and dip your toes simultaneously into each ocean. The Bredasdorp Shipwreck Museum is home to striking visual displays and a fascinating collection of shipwreck artifacts for those interested in learning more about the famous shipwrecks that have occurred along this stretch of coastline. Learn about the “woman and children first” protocol which originated when the Birkenhead sank (1852) and later became known as the Birkenhead Drill. We’ll stop by the Birkenhead Estate in Standford which is the first wine and beer brewing estate in the Southern Hemisphere and offers a fantastic beer tasting. We return along the coastline through Hermanus, which offers the best land-based whale watching in the world (in season from June – November). If you wish, you can enjoy some wine tasting in the beautiful Hemel en Aarde Valley (Heaven and Earth), visit Stony Point Penguin Colony in Betty’s Bay and slowly return via Clarens Drive following the False Bay coastline, where on a clear day you can see all the way across to Cape Point.

Please note : During whale season, there may be an opportunity to join boat-based whale watching in Hermanus (own account at +/- R900 pp) which departs from the new harbour at 11am, 12pm and 2pm daily (subject to availability and weather).

Enjoy a full day experiencing a number of the Cape Town’s top attractions whilst learning about it's rich history from the historic Castle of Good Hope to the colourful homes of the Bo Kaap, the bustling Green Market Square local market, the South African Museum and the beautiful and tranquil Company Gardens.

Itinerary
Your driver will fetch you at your accommodation and start your day heading for Table Mountain or Signal Hill (if the Cape Town weather decides to act out of our favour). From the top enjoy a beautiful gaze over our Mother City with your guide pointing out some of the highlighted views. Back at the bottom we make our way through the city , as you are taken back to the bygone colonial era, as your guide reveals the history that began South Africa`s most beautiful city. A trip to a museum is next with the options of visiting one of the many that offer a depth of insight into our diverse and fascinating history. Ease your way through the company gardens, the nucleus of our city, with pigeons, geese and squirrels criss crossing your path. Experience midday with a bit of a bang by heading up to the firing of the noon gun cannon on Signal Hill (except for Sunday and Public Holidays) We then drive out through cobbled and colourful streets of the iconic Bo-Kaap which offers amazing photo opportunities and the chance to sample something spicy from the Cape Malay cuisine.

As our tour draws to close to the end we can take advantage of the opportunity to take the scenic coastal route along Victoria road through Camps Bay, this is a must do especially if it’s in time for our alluring Cape Town sunsets that will surely put a cherry on top to a much enjoyed and splendid day.
